01 / What we hold

One record for every parcel

Every fact about a piece of ground resolves to a single record, versioned and current, instead of a dozen copies that disagree with each other.

02 / How we hold it

Proven back to the filing

Every fact can be walked back to the document it came from. If it cannot be shown, it does not go in.

03 / Why it matters

Decisions that hold up

Capital, permits, and title all move on this answer. It has to be right in the county where the ground actually sits.

01 The approach Why we exist

Land is the largest asset class with the worst data.

Ownership lives in a county system. Entitlement status lives in a planning department's meeting minutes. Pricing lives in a broker's inbox. None of it reconciles, and none of it is current.

The records exist. They are scattered across thousands of jurisdictions that were never built to talk to one another, in formats never meant to be read by anything but a person standing at a counter.

We built the standard that reconciles it. Everything else follows from that.

02 The standard The single source of truth

One standard.
Every parcel.

Land Data Group is a data aggregator. What we do not collect ourselves, we source. What we source, we verify.

The work is in what happens after acquisition: resolving thousands of incompatible sources into one parcel level record that is normalized, versioned, and traceable back to the document it came from. A record nobody can argue with is worth more than a bigger pile of data nobody can trust.

That record is the standard. What it contains, and what we do with it, is the part we keep.

03 Coverage National reach, local truth

National in reach.
Local in the detail.

Land is not one market. It is thousands of local ones, and the only answer worth having is the one that holds on the ground.

01 / Footprint

The whole map, county by county

Parcel, market, and home level coverage assembled across the country. Land data only exists locally, so that is where we go and get it.

02 / Local truth

A national average describes nobody's block

We resolve to the parcel, in the jurisdiction that recorded it, in the terms that jurisdiction uses. Local practice is not an edge case here. It is the work.

03 / Getting it right

Correct before complete

A number nobody can defend costs more than a gap. When a source does not reconcile we hold the record until it does, and we keep the document it came from.

04 Who it's for The market we serve

The people who touch dirt first.

Everything we build serves the front of the development cycle, where the information is worst and the decisions are largest.

A

Landmen & title professionals

Title, curative, leasing

Run ownership, curative, and chain of title work against one current record instead of reassembling it county by county.

  • Chain of title assembled from the source documents, not retyped from them
  • Ownership changes surfaced the week they are recorded, not the quarter
  • Surface, mineral, and leasehold interests kept separate rather than flattened
B

Land surveyors & civil engineers

Boundaries, plats, easements

Pull boundaries, easements, plats, and prior surveys for a site in one pass, with the source document attached to every line.

  • Recorded plats and prior surveys matched to the parcel before anyone mobilizes
  • Easements and rights of way carried as geometry, not as a paragraph in a PDF
  • Adjoiner ownership resolved so the notice list writes itself
C

Developers & homebuilders

Site selection, underwriting

See entitlement status, lot pricing, and competitive activity across a submarket before committing to a site.

  • Entitlement stage tracked through the approval process, not guessed at
  • Comparable pricing at the parcel rather than the zip code
  • Zoning, overlays, and moratoria surfaced before the option period starts
D

Contractors & suppliers

Bidding, pipeline

Find the work earlier: bids, crews, and qualified counterparties surfaced the moment a project enters the record.

  • Projects visible at permit, well before they reach a bid list
  • Qualified subcontractors and suppliers filtered by trade and by market
  • Award history in view, so you can size an opportunity honestly
E

Capital & institutional owners

Underwriting, portfolio

Underwrite land exposure with a defensible view of what is entitled, what is moving, and what comparable ground is worth.

  • Entitlement risk graded before the diligence clock starts running
  • Basis and comparable pricing across a whole market, not a sample of it
  • Portfolio exposure rolled up by geography and by stage
